Being victims of an unprofessional treatment from our South American agency we are in the very uncomfortable situation to announce for another one time the cancellation of the so expected tour in Latin America.We assure you that we did our best as a band in order to save the tour but the luck of proffesionalism didn˘t allow us so many limits! It seems that there is a curse that do not want our band back in your continent brothers.Really we can not give as a band a different explanation on this.The only we can give is our promise that we will use our own power to annihilate this curse and to make this tour happen in the close future. Cancellation of first part of Festival Tour Unfortunately it seems that the Gods have rolled the dice and decided that 2010 will be a year of cancellations for the Rotting Christ Horde. Due to the slow recovery of frontman Sakis˘ broken leg, he has been urged to follow medical advice to avoid any further complications, and the band has sadly no option but to cancel the first part of their summer festival tour. South American tour postponement Rotting Christ˘s frontman Sakis has been involved in a car accident in which he has sustained injuries to his leg that will keep him glued to his bed for at least a month. Unfortunately this means Rotting Christ have been forced to postpone their upcoming South American tour. "As you all know, we were really looking forward to these shows and are gutted and very sorry we can˘t make it over, but we promise all our Latin American Hermandos that we will be back in October for an even more extended tour of your continent! Whatever doesn˘t kill us will make us Stronger! | After almost 3 years since their last output, ROTTING CHRIST has entered the studio for the parade of their last worldwide successful opus 'THEOGONIA'. More than a year of composing process finds the band entering Lunatach Studios where are located in mountain Olympus creating their new songs that have the heavy soulful load to move the band a step forward from their previous output. The well established style and melodies of the band as well as the so many artistically surprises that always exist with each band's release guaranties their fans a soulful trip. New songs composing process The composing proccess has almost been completed and the band is ready to enter the studio for the recording sessions of their upcoming album. The new album will succed the very succesfull THEOGONIA, released in Feb 2007. Sakis will take care of the production once again and as the main composer he wants to state that he had the most exhausting and trippy experience of his career, squeezing his mind in excecive brainstorming. The end of the process finds him and the whole band totally convicted that they have finally made it. We dont have more to say than proving ourselves in the upcoming recordings and of course with the album's release, a release that is roughly estimated for January 2010. | ||

Tour Report: Theogonia European tour that durated 3 months has finally came to an end and the band would like to salute their fans for their soul dedication and the great response they showed during that tour. The band, after a heavy touring schedule, release their first recording after two-and-a-half years. The new album, entitled, "Theogonia", is their most aggressive and fast result in their career, yet still faithful to the band's well-established musical style. The album contains ten brand new songs, in which the inclusion of ethnic as well as ancient Greek elements finds the band discovering new paths, following the tradition of each of the band's new releases during their career. The date of the new release is slated for 22 January, and will include a DVD containing behind-the-scenes making of the album, two video clips, and a lot of footage from their last worldwide "Sanctus Diavolos" tour. Furthermore, the band officially welcomes the addition of new member, George, on guitar, and immediately after the release of their new album will hit the road again with a new global tour. | ||
